I dont mind the new Detail View when looking at a certain task. But I think the UX is a little off.
I think by updating a few of the buttons, it would make workflow a lot faster. This would minimize the accuracy of clicks which helps in being as proficient as possible. Attached are a few things I think would help.

Make the things that may need to be clicked multiple times, a large hitbox at Hover.
a. Projects, Dependencies, and Subtasks are all used frequently and would benefit from a larger hitbox. -
Move tags over. They currently look lost when added.

Always show the Description Box so you know where to click every time instead of at hover or clicked initially. This helps the eye see exactly where to go instead of guessing.
