Our team uses Asana to track completed tasks and record the hours worked on each task. This information feeds into dashboard reports that we use every two weeks to review daily hours and support payroll calculations for the biweekly pay period.
In our dashboard, I need a relative date filter that shows the last two weeks including today, so the report reflects the hours already logged for the current day.
What I’ve tried so far
I configured the dashboard filter to show the previous two weeks based on time tracked or hours recorded.
Previously, this setup showed the current day along with the prior two weeks.
I also tested a future-date filter, and that filter does include the current day when selected.
Using a custom “between” date range could work temporarily, but it would require manually updating many charts every pay period, which is not practical for our reporting workflow.
What’s not working or confusing
About a week ago, I noticed that the current day stopped appearing when using the past two-week filter. The rest of the two-week period still appears, but today is missing from the dashboard results.
Has anyone else experienced this change in Asana dashboards or relative date filters? Is there a setting that controls whether “today” is included in past-date filters, or would this require a product update such as an “include current day” option?
Could you try using “Past 14 days” instead of “Previous two weeks” (if available)? This may include today. Also, could you double-check that your dashboard is filtering by the time tracked date rather than the completion date?
If you’re able to share a bit more, it would help us investigate further:
Which dashboard widget are you using?
Which date field is selected?
Does this happen across all projects or just one?

Great news! I raised my issue with ASANA customer service and now is working.
But, I would like to share more details in case something like this happens to someone.
I used both filters but mainly filter by days (in past “x” days) and was not showing, but when you selected After “x” days it was, so there was a discrepancy.
I even tried with past weeks and same issue.
I also had the configuration of Time tracking date (this was my original set up and the one that I need since I was creating a report for Timesheet.
If you’re able to share a bit more, it would help us investigate further:
Which dashboard widget are you using? → Lollipop graph
Which date field is selected? → Time tracking
Does this happen across all projects or just one? → All of them were having issues.
Thank you for your quick response, appreciated!
If there is any other issue I would now be happier to use this community tool.
