Daily to do list

I think this would be a useful feature, unless it exists and I’ve missed it… then please let me know how to do it  I watched the video on daily tasks but can’t see that functionality on my app.

It would be great to be able to select different projects, tasks and/or su-btasks from various projects and add to a single daily to-do list. This function would be without having to set a deadline, or work within a singular project.

Hi @Louise_Buys! Are you familiar with My Tasks? My Tasks is designed to help you plan your day and create a daily to do list.

I suggest that you take a look at these materials:

Please let us know if you have follow up questions.

Hi! @Alexis has already pointed out My Tasks, which I use from time to time, but you could also set up a to-do list project. I have one called ‘My workload’, which is split into 2 sections:

Doing: Upcoming tasks for this week.
To do: Everything else

Most tasks have due dates but some don’t. I just find it easier to organise things in a separate project, and tasks from multiple projects can all sit in that one place. This is the method I use: https://asana.com/guide/resources/videos/multi-home

If you mess about, I’m sure you’ll find a method that works for you.

Hi Alexis, the Later & Upcoming sections appear to be missing from My Tasks. Is there some way I can fix this?

That is because you have nothing in them. Move a task to Upcoming (Tab + U) or Later (Tab + L) and it will appear.

+1 to Bastien’s suggestion! I would have said the same thing.

My tasks is the hallmark feature of Asana that differentiates it from anything else on the market. You can set tasks up, mark them as later or upcoming, and forget with confidence until their due date / start date. It’s executed flawlessly.
