- Only the person drafting the status sees and can edit the associated custom fields (e.g., progress % complete, budget, stage).
- Collaborators see a limited view and can’t contribute to or edit these fields during the drafting phase, even though the final status shows those fields once published.
Right now, to ensure fields are updated collaboratively:
- Team members can edit the custom fields directly in the project (outside the status update flow) before the status is published.
- The status initiator can reference or pull those changes in before publishing, but yes, it’s a manual workaround.
