Using our asana as an order process system and I want to use formulas but in order for me to do so, I had to make multiple custom fields and so I did. Now the empty non-filled fields are taking up too much space, and I would like to only make the filled-out ones visible.
Hi @Joel_Hedtke , you currently cannot hide empty fields in the task pane but that might be coming in the near future.
If it helps, on an Enterprise plan you can make fields private but that would hide them from others; you would still be able to see them.
From your fields it seems like you have multiple similar fields. Perhaps each Quantity 1, 2, 3 could be subtasks instead and therefore rollup their sums within the same number field, instead of using three. That might help reduce the number of fields, as long as it works for your use case.
