Creation of Asana account

My organisation did extensive research into 17 project management software systems and landed on Asana. We are an NPO and have been attempting to set up an Asana account for over half a month and have been sent to 5 different consultants none of who have set up our account and all of who have stopped responding via email.

Has anyone experienced this? We were so excited to get going with this software but this disappointing experience has us regretting our decision to move forward with the software.

@Megan_Hallett1 - Hi and welcome to the forum. Though I don’t work for Asana, I’m sorry for the rough experience you’ve had so far.

I’m sure you already know this, but Asana’s solutions partners are all third-party consultants/vendors who are experienced (at various levels) in Asana setup and implementations, but are not paid by Asana; so to engage their help usually requires a separate contract and payment.

So, my recommendation would be to check and verify if you formally had an SOW, a contract, or service hours purchased with any of those consultants. My team, TeamKickstart, does a free intro call with new potential clients, but we don’t engage in a project until a contract is signed and a payment is made. Anyway, it might be the same with the consultants you’ve been referred to.

However, if you had a contract with one or more of those consultants or if you made a payment and they have become unresponsive, you should definitely notify your Asana sales rep, if you have one.

Here are some free resources that may help as well:

And, @lpb does a free monthly help session for non-profits too, and he’s an absolute Pro in Asana (also highly recommend him as a consultant)
He has a help session today!
