Complex Domain Changes

Hey folks,

Just seeking some advice here for a client regarding domain changes. Here’s the scenario.

  • They’re currently using @domainAAA.com on a paid Starter plan with 25 users.
  • As part of restructuring, the client wants to remove @domainAAA.com entirely and add @domainBBB.com as the primary domain.
  • The client is looking to upgrade to Enterprise with 10 users from @domainBBB.com.
  • All other users on @domainAAA.com, including another subsidiary @domainCCC.com will be converted to guests.

My question is, is all of the above possible in the existing Asana instance?

Have any of you been involved in such a “migration” before and can provide some advice and any “gotchas”?

Asana support can definitely help with those requests. Just make sure to explain very, very clearly what you need before they start moving things around.
