In the list view, I set the column order using the ‘Hide’ button. If I reload the project, the column order is re-set to default order.
Steps to reproduce: Fix column order using the ‘Hide’ menu. reload the project.
Browser version: Mac Desktop Version 1.15.0 (1.15.0)
What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)?Premium
This doesn’t sound like a bug. What you need to do is look for the save icon with a blue dot (on the far right along the header) that appears whenever you make any changes to the project’s layout, and select save for everyone.
That way it will save the layout whenever you or anyone else visits the project.
Oh I have just seen in another thread that the Save feature is not yet rolled out to everyone—but should be by September. So I’ll just be patient! Thanks for providing the above info anyway!
Indeed, it appears that you don’t have this update yet in your Asana. If you click on the ... overflow menu (below the Customize button in your screenshot), you should see ‘Save layout as default’ which does the same thing. (that was the way before the update with the save icon).
Having said that, there is actually a chance that you do have the update. If you try and alter anything in your project’s layout, such as using the Filters, Sort, Hide buttons or changing the order of columns or their width, the save icon will only appear then!
