You have changed the custom fields to more of a pastel colour.
Please can you revert back to the original colouring? or at least give us the option for the full colours.
My team had only just gotten used to the original colours and now they are nothing alike.
Its very frustrating!
Hi @Hannah_Kuchel, welcome to the Asana Forum and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us!
We recently updated our product’s color palette to align more closely with the broader design updates we’ve been rolling out across our website and other materials. These changes aim to provide a more cohesive, clear, and focused experience throughout the product and brand.
While we don’t have plans to revert this update, I’ve shared your feedback with our product team so they can keep it in mind for future iterations of the Asana color palette.
If there are specific elements or aspects of the previous palette that you particularly miss, please feel free to share, I’d be happy to pass that along as well.
@Hannah_Kuchel , one potential workaround is to enable “Color Blind Friendly Mode” in Asana Settings > Display.
That should gives you much richer colours.
No idea if it’s the same as what you were seeing before though since I’ve been using that setting the whole time…
I would also like to express my dislike for the new crappy colours. Doesn’t really match the dopamine-pleasing strengths the platform seems to lean towards. The animated reactions upon completing some tasks had better not go away!
Thanks for the suggested of colour blind mode. The new colours are harder to see and distinguish for me and this helps. This new change with no real option to change back is not only bad for accessiblity but for focus too
I really don’t like the new colors. They are way too similar to each other. It’s frustrating because I find the color-blind mode too harsh and the new default colors too bland and similar. The original colors were perfect so it’s incredibly frustrating to see them change.
