Can you view Timeline on the mobile application?

Hi,

My team recently upgraded to Premium and we are loving the Timeline feature! However many of us primarily use Asana on our phones and are having trouble viewing the timelines for projects - the mobile app still only presents list, board, and calendar viewing options even after logging out and back in.

Has anyone else run into this? Is the Timeline feature disabled from the mobile application for some reason?

Thanks!

Timeline is not available on the mobile app as of yet

Really need to view timeline from my tablet… browser redirects me to the app, so I can’t view it that way, either. When will it be available? My brain doesn’t work in list or board views.

Agreed, we really need timeline view. When I’m working with a tablet, this is a view I want to have access anytime.

Any update on this, Asana? The Timeline view is such a useful view - I can’t believe it’s not available on the app yet!

Asana, please please please allow the Timeline view on Ipad!!! Love your software but this is a huge miss. I really would love to be able to use the timeline view on my ipad. I live off my ipad and want to use the timeline view constantly

Perhaps the Asana devs can add an optional feature to “open timeline in web browser” on the mobile app for the time being?

Is a read only mobile timeline at least on the roadmap?

This is so much of a necessity. We need to track and change team work based on hours mode.
Changing task time is so difficult now. We have click atleast 10 times per task on mobile to change task time.
That s a big productivity loser and discouraging to use the app to monitor task.
Pls accomadate this at the earliest

This would be so helpful, I have just built a whole project based on the timeline feature, to realise that it isn’t viewable from a phone, so my project is has gone out the window!

Very disappointing to see that this request is still not worked on 2 years later. I probably will pay for another service that can see Gantt timeline view for my companies. Everything is going mobile yet asana hasn’t keep up with the times given the years. What a waste of a brilliantly designed interface. I pity the hard work of the interface designer whose work deserve more but being undermine by the mobile development team.

Hi @edmundlimkw81 , welcome to the forum

You and others on this thread may like to know that there is a 3rd party app called Instagantt (no affiliation) which works great with Asana and is able to display Gantt views of your projects, in your web browser, on desktop as well as on mobile.

You can try it for free by connecting up to 3 projects. It’s also great for exporting to PDF and adding multiple projects within the same view!
