Can you create a parent project and have mulitple smaller (child) projects tied to it?

I have a project where we are closing a building and moving clients to two other buildings. Need a master/parent project and would like to tie each client/child move project to the master project. Is that possible?

@Casey_Drawe - you can’t have projects be subordinate to each other, but there are a few ways to accomplish your more general ask:

  1. Use a portfolio to group all of the projects together
  2. Use task multi-homing to show the same task(s) in multiple projects
  3. Use one project and make the smaller “projects” sections within that overall project

Thank you, if I use task multi-homing and complete in one project does it complete in the other?

@Casey_Drawe - Yes! A “multi-homed” task is the exact same task in each project. So if you complete it, change a date/field, re-assign, add comments, etc., those changes will be visible in each project.
