Hello

Its already 2023 and still no burdown chart ?

how we will provide daily scram for team ?

Monday, Jira, and many others could provide that feature.

Does any of support team could reply on that ? How do you controlling support issues on your daily ? Are you using Jira for bug tracking? )

Has anyone succeeding in using the Burnup chart type in Asana to replicate a classic Agile burndown/burnup chart workflow?

As far as I can tell, itā€™s still just aggregating data when a task is created vs completed, and nothing in between - so if I modify my hours remaining on a task, it just modifies the original entry dateā€™s data, invalidating all historical data.

I still find it so bizarre that youā€™ve written a great article on how to implement a burndown chart by hand: Burndown Chart: What it is, How to Use it, Example [2023] ā€¢ Asana, yet youā€™ve completely failed to implement a useful burndown chart in your tool

This is so disappointing, you guys sell yourselves as the best option for Scrum (with many articles about it) but doesnā€™t have such a basic feature like this, after 3 years of request by your users! Youā€™re really not worried about your users and this is sad to realize after spending such an huge amount of work and money on implementing Asana on our team.

Dear,

When do we get a proper dashboard where we can see a burndown for the future: Are we going to make all tasks until the end of e.g. a sprint.

Did you try the available Burnup chart?

Yes, but honestly. Those are useless (for my need). Please check the graph, where the green line is the target / plan and the bars are the various tasks. In this case you see that we are slightly behind plan and need to take action.

This is indeed currently not possible. If you use the search on the forum youā€™ll find other threads discussing this same issue with, if I remember correctly, a 3rd party dashboarding solution, offering a burndown chart.

@Niels_Oomen @Bastien_Siebman Screenful has a burndown chart. By default, the chart shows the completion of work from the whole board, and you can narrow it down to any subset of tasks by setting a filter.

The numbers can represent task counts or any of your custom number fields (e.g. story points). You can learn more about this chart from the Tour page.

@SamiLinnanvuo thanks for the feedback, but that requires an additional plugin. Where I think that the Asana tool should have it by default.

Hi all,

In ASANA when it comes to dashboard/adding chart currently we have ā€œBurn up chartā€ is available. Is there any option available to select ā€œBurn down chartā€.

One more challenge is that we cannot integrate one more tool to integrate with ASANA for requested chart & run in ASANA (Ex: Screenful tool).

Please suggest.
