Has anyone succeeding in using the Burnup chart type in Asana to replicate a classic Agile burndown/burnup chart workflow?
As far as I can tell, itās still just aggregating data when a task is created vs completed, and nothing in between - so if I modify my hours remaining on a task, it just modifies the original entry dateās data, invalidating all historical data.
This is so disappointing, you guys sell yourselves as the best option for Scrum (with many articles about it) but doesnāt have such a basic feature like this, after 3 years of request by your users! Youāre really not worried about your users and this is sad to realize after spending such an huge amount of work and money on implementing Asana on our team.
Yes, but honestly. Those are useless (for my need). Please check the graph, where the green line is the target / plan and the bars are the various tasks. In this case you see that we are slightly behind plan and need to take action.
This is indeed currently not possible. If you use the search on the forum youāll find other threads discussing this same issue with, if I remember correctly, a 3rd party dashboarding solution, offering a burndown chart.
@Niels_Oomen@Bastien_SiebmanScreenful has a burndown chart. By default, the chart shows the completion of work from the whole board, and you can narrow it down to any subset of tasks by setting a filter.
In ASANA when it comes to dashboard/adding chart currently we have āBurn up chartā is available. Is there any option available to select āBurn down chartā.
One more challenge is that we cannot integrate one more tool to integrate with ASANA for requested chart & run in ASANA (Ex: Screenful tool).
