Bulk permanently delete tasks

Not just one task, but ALL the tasks that could potentially take up server/memory space that could be better allocated for other things.

I know there’s a button for that, but it’s only for ONE tasks. This button will save time that would’ve been allocated towards other things.

While this feature isn’t available right now, I’ll keep you posted if it’s something our Product team plan to implement in the future.

Testing out the software in day 2 and already this is a huge issue that in two years has not been addressed. Seems like a doozy to me, but not. Yikes.

Please add the ability to bulk delete subtasks…

Yes!! Please allow us to select multiple tasks and have the option to do a bulk delete.

I’ve deleted a bunch of tasks and I found those by doing a search / Advanced Search / Add Filter / More / Deleted and then I select the deleted option and hit search and there are all the tasks I’ve deleted, but I can’t figure out how to select them in bulk and permantely delete them. Please help!

If people have been asking to have the ability to permanently delete tasks in bulk for so long and Asana hasn’t implemented this, what does that say about Asana? You would think they would want to make the best product they possibly could. Such a shame

Also voted for this option. It should be a must-have!

I’m actually permanently deleting tasks one by one, and it’s such a waste of time.

  1. double click the tag - this will take you to a dynamic list with all of the tags.
  2. Select all of the tasks.
  3. delete one tag - this will delete all the other tags from all the tasks.
    • the dynamic list will now be blank, as there are no longer tags associated with those tasks.

Welcome, @David_Dalton2, and thanks for posting but this topic is about permanently deleting the tasks themselves, not the tags attached to tasks.

Adding my vote to this. Tbh it’s quite disappointing to see such simple requests being ignored by the Asana product team for years.
