Blind spot detector for AI Teammates

Now that we’ve played with Asana AI Teammates for a while, we realized that we needed what we call a “blind spot detector”.

The reasoning behind this is that it’s very easy to create an Asana AI teammate. What’s hard, however, is to make sure we don’t forget anything in terms of behavior. How can you make sure that the teammate knows who they work for, and what are your company goals? How do you make sure the teammate knows what the other teammates are doing? How do you make sure the teammate has a strict policy when it comes to tone and behavior overall?

This "blind spot detector "is designed as a list of questions that a teammate needs to answer after its creation to double-check that it knows what is necessary in order to do its job properly. In our case, we placed it in the project template we use for AI Teammate onboarding.

Here’s the list, and let us know what you think in the comments!

Answer all questions below in a comment. Keep each question as is, and provide the answer next to it.

  1. Who do you work for?
  2. What do they do?
  3. What are their company global goals? What are they trying to achieve?
  4. What is expected from you as an Asana AI Teammate in terms of mission?
  5. What should be your tone and interaction behaviour?
  6. What other Asana AI teammates do you see?
  7. For which type of work can you recommend each Asana AI Teammates?
  8. Mention a few projects you have access to.
  9. Are there projects or tasks you don’t have access to but feel like you should?
