Unfortunately, the biggest issue I’m having with using a third party solution like iDo is that I’m unable to add these rules to templates. I very specifically want certain sections in the template to always mark items as milestones, tasks, and approvals. We have a widely used template (repeatedly used every quarter as well) where this would benefit everyone who uses Asana in our organization.
The delay in the items updating is also bothersome. It sometimes happens in a couple of seconds, or it can take several minutes.
This is NOT SOLVED. Can we please remove the “solved” mark on this?

It would be useful to have an option in rules under ‘Do This’ that converts a task into a milestone when it moves to a specific section, e.g. I have a section named ‘Milestones’ and I don’t want to have to manually convert the tasks to milestones in here each time.
Would love to see this added.
I have several projects that I am tracking with a single portfolio and, at the same time, following the milestones. I need to convert them to milestones manually every time I create a new one. It would be awesome to have a rule that converts to Milestone automatically.
