Self explanatory, but also launch in same position on screen, so it feels like an ever-present widget.
Hi @Mehmet_Bozatli I’m surprised this isn’t already an official feature; however, I was able to dig up some old posts about this very issue here
and here
I was able to achieve launching Asana at startup on Windows by performing the following steps manually.
Disclaimer: You follow these steps at your own risk. An update may break this functionality.
Step 1: locate folder where Asana application file is located
Location of Asana app
“C:\Users%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Asana\Asana.exe”
Step 2: create a shortcut of Asana and place that shortcut in the Startup folder for the current user
Location of Startup folder
C:\Users%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
When everything is complete it should look like this
The next time you reboot Asana should auto start as of 6/17/2025 and version 2.4.1 (x64) of the Asana app
As for the app remembering the same position, I’m not sure if that’s currently possible especially if you’re using multiple screens, but for the Asana app itself you can right click → Properties under the Shortcut tab of the Asana app and select if you want it Minimized, Normal window or Maximized whenever the App gets launched
Hope this helps
