I use the Desktop app exclusively from my home office and personal iPad, so having to log in every two weeks is annoying. I’d like to see one or more of the following enhancements:
A Setting that I control, to determine how many days between auto-logouts
Remember my login info like the browser does
Allow right-click access to password managers (e.g. 1password) during login
The point of Asana for me is to capture tasks as I get them because I work in a very hectic ad-hoc work envrionment. I’ll get 50 to 100 “to-dos” a day and the ones I can’t do in the moment, I need to get into asana quickly so I don’t forget to do them.
I work from multiple desks and multiple devices (a total of 4 desktops, 2 laptops, an iPad and two android devices. It never seems to matter which device I go to grab, I have to take the time to log in (I finally disabled the google log in because without internet I can’t log in at all). By the time I log in, whatever it was I wanted to capture is gone.
ALL of my devices are behind passwords, pins, and/or biometrics. I’m an individual subscriber so I’m not getting an AD SSO implementation with Asana. Can you please for the love of all things holy give some granular control over this in the PC app and the mobile device apps? I get the web page needing frequent log-ins, but the apps is just ridiculous.
At least let us use the biometrics on the android and iPad devices to auth? That as an option at least helps some. Thumbprint/faceID/pin, done. fast. easy. good to go. And the desktop app should have an option to select login frequency for non-enterprise implementations. Please. Please. I beg you. My dogs who didn’t have dog food because I lost track of entering it because I couldn’t log into asana because my internet was down beg you.
yeah this is an obvious. If I am trying to be productive, i don’t want any silly impediments in my flow. leave the risk up to me and secure harder on your end, i dunno. Having to google sign up every day or other day is pretty annoying.
