Auto Add Milestones to New Project

I am looking to automatically add any tasks that are converted to a milestone to another project. I looked in the custom rules options and not seeing the ability to do this…am I missing something? Or any suggestions/work-arounds?

Welcome, @Maddy_Lundquist,

A workaround would be to add an “Action” (or similar) single-select custom field with a single value “Convert to milestone” (more later when/if you have more actions).

Add a rule:

• When Action changed to Convert to milestone
• Do this:
  
  
  
  and add to another project
  and reset the Action field
