Shortcut for making task a milesone

I’d like to request that a shortcut for converting tasks to milestones be integrated into the software. I’m actually surprised that this isn’t already done. It is time consuming to click into the task, navigate to the ellipses, and then select from the drop-down ‘mark as milestone’. There should be a shortcut to convert a task to a milestone when you are creating the task. Thank you!!

Actually, you can use rules to shortcut this process that you mentioned.

If you can create custom rules (Business Plan or above), then you can shortcut the process. Here’s how:

  1. First, go to rules and select any trigger that sets the rule in motion.

  2. Secondly, select the external action found in iDO Things: “Mark task as milestone”

That way, you can avoid having to click on a task and navigate till you find it in the dropdown.
(remark: as a trigger, if you select a dedicated custom field, it will be equivalent to creating a button)
