Does anybody know if there is a workaround to extracting the “updates” metadata of a task?

Can you say more about what you mean by “updates metadata of a task”? It’s not entirely clear what data elements/objects you’re referring to.
Retaking this thread, I think he refers to the change history of a task in Asana (the gray area at the end of each task).
