Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing: When adding calendar tasks into Asana, we usually can input times. Currently, the program will not allow us to input a specific time - jumping to an hour before or not allowing for a.m./p.m. distinction.
Steps to reproduce: Add new task to asana project (De-Stress Fest 2023) > click clock to add time > select time
Browser version: Chrome 116.0.5845.187
What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)? Business
HI @Anna_Paladini, thanks for flagging this and sorry for the trouble. I could not replicate this behavior in Chrome. Can you check if the issue persists in an incognito window or in a different browser?
Hi @Alyson_Rinaldi sorry to hear that you are running into the same issue. Can you also confirm if this happens in different browsers and/or incognito window?
We are seeing this irregular behavior with the time fields as well. In our case, the problem has been occurring after a task has been generated from an Asana form designed to capture event details. In our form, there are two ways to enter a time for an event…(1) from the date/time selector and (2) from an open field for the “Event Time” (side note: We included both options because the date selector doesn’t work well for events with multiple dates) The issue surfaces after the task is generated from the form and a human screener tries to add the time info into the appropriate fields. As an example, trying to input 2pm as start time results in auto-changing both the end time to 11:59pm and the due date to the next day.
Immediate attention is needed to address this bug. Thank you.

Hi everyone, sorry for missing your replies here. I have reached out to our Developers about this issue and hope to get a reply soon. Since we could not replicate this on our end, would any of you be able to send me a private message with a screencast? This would really help them investigate the problem. Thank you!

Tasks keep confusing the time that you select on the start & due date. This has happened multiple times in the past and all our users are experiencing it in our domain, including when filling forms. Watch the gif below.

Hi @Esteban_Giannini, sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with due time. This has already been reported to our Developers, and although we don’t have an ETA to share yer, they are working on a fix. I’ll merge this topic into our existing thread so you can follow the updates
Hi @Vanessa_N, I was wondering if there have been any updates on this?
In our case, I’m pretty sure it has to do with the daylight saving time change here in New York, which takes place on March 10th.
When I set times for tasks before March 10th, I have no issues with the time. However, for tasks with dates beyond March 10th, there is a 1-hour discrepancy.
Hi @Esteban_Giannini, unfortunately we are not able to share an ETA yet, but I’ll pass this additional information along to our team, and hopefully it will help expedite the process. I’ll keep you posted.
@Vanessa_N any progress with this? My client is impacted, he is the internal champion, and that’s very uncomfortable for them because they went out of their way to support Asana internally…
Hey @Vanessa_N I’ve encountered another glitch. Once you set the date and time, it won’t let you switch it to a different one. Even though it appears like it’s changing, it reverts back to the original one. Please check out the recording:
Hi @Bastien_Siebman, unfortunately the Developers don’t have an ETA to share yet, but I can see them actively working in the escalation report. I’ve reached out one more time to check if we can share anything.
@Esteban_Giannini, I can see a similar report in the escalation, but I’ll add the screencast provided to the report.
As soon as I have any news I’ll inform you. Thank you again.
