For one user in our space, Asana Google calendar integration is no longer working. It’s not updating new tasks nor removing tasks as they are completed. They’ve waited several days to see if this resets, but the link seems to be broken. Is there a re-install option for just one user? Not sure how to proceed.
Hi @LGN_Collaborations, sorry to hear this. You can confirm which setup they’re using, then reset for that user.
- If its the iCal sync:
In Google Calendar, under Other calendars, find the Asana-synced calendar, open Settings, and unsubscribe/remove it
In Asana, grab a fresh Sync to Calendar link from the project or My Tasks, then in Google Calendar use Add calendar > From URL to re-add it
Heads up that Google can take up to 24 hours to refresh. Completed tasks may also take time to drop
- If its the Asana for Google Calendar app:
In the project, go to Customize > Apps > Google Calendar, disconnect then reconnect for that user
Remove any old Asana calendar the user sees in Google Calendar so it doesnt conflict
Double check tasks have due dates and the user still has access to the project and tasks they expect to see
If it’s still not updating after a day, contact Asana Support with the user’s email, setup type, project link, and last working date.
