I am not sure if this topic is in the right spot, but I wonder if Asana devloppers can add the following functionality:

Possibility to select a particular field when adding a custom field using a formula (as of now only 4 fields are available) see below;

Actually, it already works that way! You are not seeing it because first you need to define custom fields in your project that are either of type number, date, or formula, then they’ll appear selectable as in this screenshot:
