Archive or hide completed Goals

@Crystal_Alifanow,

I just confirmed that I still see Delete goal in My Goals, but I’m guessing that there may be circumstances where you can’t delete a goal in My Goals because of some membership issue, for example if it’s in a Team that you’re not a member of perhaps? Again, just guessing.

Maybe you could create an org-wide test goal with yourself as owner and see if that shows Delete goal?

Sorry for the incomplete answer,

Larry

Thanks. I will test that later. I did realize that when I use “close this goal” I can choose the status dropdown and select “dropped” and it archives the goal. But whew, that was buried and unclear.

I forgot to follow up on that parenthetical part; thanks for mentioning that.

Those statuses are helpful for filtering, which you can do very specifically or for all open or all closed statuses:

It’s very nice to have the filter option in the Goals part of Asana :slight_smile: I have two related requests:

  1. I would like to be able to have only open goals visible as a connection on a project page (still having the connection with the closed goal, but invisible)

  2. I would like to be able to filter out closed goals in the field ‘connected goals’ in a PF list view. It seems that I can’t apply the “(doesn’t) contain” on more than 5 specific goals and I have more. I want to be able to group projects per goal in the PF list view.

Is there an option to do this?
