I managed to install the other way around from within the applications (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign) but I think it should be possible this way too?
The Adobe Creative Cloud + Asana integrations supports the following 3 desktop apps: Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC and Indesign CC 2019 (earlier versions not supported). I checked internally and these are the steps you can follow to install the app:
Open Photoshop, Illustrator or Indesign desktop app
Click Window → Find extension on exchange
Search “Asana”
Click Install
Restart desktop app
I hope this helps! Let me know if the issue persists and you still cannot install the app!
Thanks for getting back at me. I managed to install via the programs themselves indeed, but not through adding them to the exchange website.
unfortunately the functionality of the app is very very limited and disappointing. No sorting, no filtering, no seeing tasks per project, just one list of all your task. All benefits you have in Asana itself, but not in the Adobe program. Until that has been fixed, including commenting on images instead of only pdf (some W-letter competitor has this resolved), there is no need for me to use it.
Thanks for getting back to me and taking the time to share your feedback with us, @Joost! I’ll pass this information to the team so they can consider adding these features in future updates!
