There does not seem to be a way to set the order of custom fields associated with the Client object in the Profile view nor the RightPanel view in the asana-client-management product.
Note: We can set the order and show/hide fields in the SpreadsheetGrid views. But that is not what I am requesting the ability to do.
In traditional Portfolios and Projects there is a Custom fields option within the Customize button in the upper right that provides us with the ability to set the order of fields independent from their order in the SpreadsheetGrid views.
For some reason, when copying this “custom” portfolio object for the Client Management product, this functionality was disabled or left out prior to release.
Please, if you’re going to give us a custom-portfolio type, give us the core features portfolios have as well (e.g. proper custom field management).
Update: Untenable Workaround. As of 2026-09-27, the only way to change the order of these custom fields is to first remove all of the custom fields from the Clients pseudo-portfolio, then re-add them back one-by-one in the order you want them to display in the RightPanel.
With the obvious downside being that, should you ever want to add another custom field later, you better hope you want it to appear in the last position else you will have to remove and re-add all of the custom fields all over again…
