We are working a lot with workflows that are organized in projects. In order for me to identify a task in the “my-tasks” section, it is necessary to see the section in addition to the project.
Example:
Ticket Name: Webtext “How to plant a tree?”
Project: Webtexts
Section: Revise after Client Feedback
→ If I don’t see the section, I don’t know what the ticket is for. Renaming the ticket to include a verb is not an option, because this doesn’t fit our workflow logic.
Can you please add the section tag next to the project tag in the “my-tasks” area? Thanks!
Welcome to the Community Forum @anon95811548 and thanks for sharing your feedback with us! We don’t have immediate plans to implement this in the short term but I’ll make sure to share your feedback with our product team.
With the introduction of custom fields to ‘My Tasks’ surely this should be considered? I still can’t use the ‘My Tasks’ view as I’ve no idea which tasks belong to which section.
This display in MyTasks is so annoying I just created My Task reports for every person on my team to view. Such a simple request that is more important than all the other nonsense Asana rolls out every month. Clearly, there are no project managers at Asana, just product managers.
