Add project name to sub-tasks

Need to see what project an assigned sub-task relates to. Currently, when a sub-task is assigned, the assignee sees the sub-task and the parent task in their My Tasks list, but not the project. This limitation makes people not want to use sub-tasks. Is there a work-around?

Hi @Dale1 :wave:t3:

The best workaround I can think of is to manually add your subtasks to their project so you can see to which project each subtask belong. When you do that, subtasks will automatically appear on your project task list, so to avoid any confusion, I would create a “Subtask” section at the bottom of your project and nest all subtasks in this section. This way you will see projects on your subtasks and minimize any confusion on your project task list.

Hope this helps, but please let us know if you have any follow-up questions!
