While drafting a recent project status update for my team, I needed to pose a question with either a y/n or short answer to determine some next steps for the project. Currently there is no way to solicit a short answer in a particular format in Asana (responses to project updates are not mandatory and can be any text format)
The lack of this feature means I have to go outside of Asana (email) to get the required responses. Furthermore the responses I do collect will not be associated with the relevant Asana project update, but rather will have to be added manually to the next project update I send.
