I’ve added my vote to this as well! This would be super helpful for us, as a task changes hands from designer, estimator, project manager and senior managers throughout the tasks workflow, which is mapped and visualized using custom task status.
It would be so awesome if we could have a rule that triggers based of task status, and reassigns based of either a custom field, or even project template roles would make more sense.
If project roles could be added to automations It would solve this product feedback issue, at least for my use case anyway - Create Rule to allow assignment of tasks based on project "role" If this would also solve the issue for anyone here you are welcome to upvote
