When you create a new project, al tabs are automatically created (Overview, List, Board, etc).
How a project is used, depends on its goal, company policies, personal preferences, etc.
In my case, I use List view a lot, so I end up deleting a lot of views when creating a project.
Would it not be a good idea to have the ability to select the views you want when you create a new project?
As it is, you can already select the default view, but a simple list with checkboxes would avoid a lot of extra work.
