Ability to automate a new task with the same description...

This feature would be great in SOPs with tasks being able to be marked complete by each member then pass off in a new task with the same description

What would be the value in this? Could you give an example situation where you’d want to be able to do this?

Sounds like something rules can already do :slight_smile:

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make a rule that duplicates a task and it’s description. I can duplicate every other aspect of the task, but not the description. If rules can already do this, what am I doing wrong?

Note the View all fields button:

…and the + sign:

…then choose Variable:

and then will get you the triggering task’s Description.
