Why don’t subtasks show up under a Task in calendar view?
The calendar view only shows items (parent tasks) that are at the project level. If you want to have subtasks shown from this view, you’ll have to assign them to the project.
A common workaround is to have a section within the project that is dedicated for all subtasks (as deep as they may go). This way you can collapse this section and not crowd your project with items are are embedded within other tasks. This also allows for subtasks to be seen from other views, like timeline or boards, as well.
Thanks Jerod. What do you mean by sections? Do you mean board section called Subtasks or something like that? Mark.
He means a section (in list view) / column (in board view). That way your subtasks can be subtasks AND tasks of the project, and will appear on the calendar. See 🔥 Hottest feature requests and their workarounds for more details
Thanks! Mark.
