Time Tracking in Sub Tasks Automatically add to parent task time

When using the time tracking in asana the subtasks are not adding the time spent to the parent tracking. We work in 22 different languages so almost everything we do is done multiple times. And it is a team of 8 people doing the work across the various languages so tracking in the main parent task doesn’t work as you have multiple people working on the same task simultaneously.

We want to use the time tracking to help identify a benchmark for how tasks take to better manage workload. But the time is not added ot the parent task. So the owner of that asana task has to go in and manually add them all together or have the team manually track time spent and add it to the main parent task.

Could this be automated? So when you list time spent on the subtask it adds to the time in the parent task. So when going into the main task you can see how much has been spent on the entire task but can still dig into time spent on specific subtasks if needed.
