- What you’re trying to do
As an Asana user, I would like to have task due reminders include task details. This feature would help me quickly understand what task(s) I should be doing that day by just looking at my notifications (no need to open the Asana app). Here is an example of a mobile notification on Android - it does not contain any task specific details.
A slightly separate but related ask. If this change is adopted, ideally notifications should be individual per task and not batched. Currently a notification will read something like “2 tasks for today”. Individual notifications would enable a nice workflow where tapping on the notification would lead you to that task. These seem to be standard notification workflows on most apps, just think of your experience using something like Google Calendar.

I’ve reached out to support to confirm this behavior since it was surprising that this feature is not supported. The response: “I can see that having the option to see the task titles and their content on the push notification for tasks that are due today would be helpful in managing your tasks. Having said that, I’ve gone ahead and forwarded your thoughts about this feature to our Product team for consideration.”.
