Task types - ability to change the status to multiple tasks at once (bulk action)

The new Task types are great but they are still lacking some functionality that we can do with fields but not yet with task types. One such functionality is the ability to be able to bulk select multiple tasks and set the status to multiple tasks in one click.

Currently, when you select many tasks and change the task type status, it will only change the task that is clicked on, not all that are selected. This is unlike what happens when you change any editable field, or assignee and due date; it applies the change to all selected tasks.

Additionally, the black multi-action bar that appears along the bottom of the screen when multiple tasks are selected, does not appear to have any support for task types, yet!

yes please. I’m getting tired of going through my list of 30 task each week and having to change the task system one by one.

@Kenny4 , you mean the task type status?
Sounds like you have recurring tasks? Task types will work great as recurring tasks because they will default back to the first status in the type’s ‘Active’ category. This is unlike a single-select status field which will remain the same as it’s previous recurrence, when it was completed, likely displaying a ‘Done’ status, for example.

Agreed. It’s wildly ineffective to update things individually.
