Spell Check / Spellcheck

I see that spell check works within a field, using red sine-wave underline to highlight words that are misspelled - this is good.

Is there a way to press F7 and have Asana perform a spell check of all words, bringing up the concerns? Yes, like Microsoft Office. Why? Because eyes auto-correct AND why should we be forced to open every task to manually check spelling?

Thanks,
Mike

I’ve moved this topic to where you can click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the Vote button.

Thanks,

Larry

What does that mean?

@Mark25 If you think this is a good idea then you can add your vote. Vote count gives Asana an indication of how popular this request is, which is one of many factors taken into consideration when determining if this should be implemented.

Maybe more important is clarifying why you’d want this feature.

I want spell check because I often misspell words.

Larry,

I am unclear on where I am to go to vote… might you share the link to what you recommend we do next?

Thanks,
Mike

@Mike_Van_Vooren,

Either click Spell Check / Spellcheck or the boldfaced title (“Spell Check / Spellcheck”) at the topic of this topic page.

Once there, you’ll see this:

Thanks, done.

So we have a whole 4 votes… that is “less than a handful”
Has anyone ever asked for Spellcheck before? Should we vote on that?
or is this the first-ever ask and first-ever vote on requesting SpellCheck?
with a mere 4 votes, what happens next - nothing ?

Search the forum and find out.

If we do find a duplicate this can be merged into that topic, adding the votes to the other topic.

Impossible to say. As I said, this is one of many factors Asana take into consideration.

There are feedback threads with >1k votes that haven’t been implemented, and there are threads with one vote that have been.

The challenge for Asana is finding a balance between listening to feedback and steering their own course.

Here is some reading material that I think are helpful in better understanding Asana’s perspective on feedback:
