Section title - limited name and no description field available

I would like to recommend two improvements to the Section title:

  1. Increase the field characters. Nowadays it only shows 47 characters, which is annoying.

  2. Add the possibility of making a description for the Section level! We can make a description of the whole project, to the tasks, subtasks, why not to the Title?

I hope the team could consider that for future releases.

We already have a request for the option to have a description field in sections, I suggest you to add your vote here:

In regards to your request to increase the limit of characters shown in the section’s title in List view. This will depend on how many fields you are showing in your List and how expanded in the title. You can hide some custom fields to make more space for the sections title.

I’ll follow your advice and vote on the other recommendation.
Regarding the limited characters, I’ve tried to hide the fields and it works. However, that does not solve the problem as I need the custom fields visible. I wish we could expand the title without having to hide the fields.
