While London and the South East have a strong presence in the community, I’m curious to find out how many of us are using Asana across the Midlands and the North UK?
I’m keen to connect with fellow Asana Ambassadors and Users across:
The North West (Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire, Lancashire)
Yorkshire & the North East (Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle)
Unless one already exists that I’ve missed, @Emily_Roman? I’d love to kick off a dedicated regional group. There may be some benefits of meet ups or sharing use cases specific to our regional hubs - like manufacturing, logistics, retail supply chains, and higher education.
If you’re based in the region, drop a reply with:
Where you’re based (bonus points for sharing a local greeting i.e. “Ayup Duck!” (Stoke/Notts) or local food delicacy i.e. Oatcakes, Bakewell Tarts, Pork Pies…)
Your industry / main Asana use case
What you would benefit from (virtual events, meet ups, sharing use cases specific to industries more popular in the Mids/North)
Looking forward to getting the Midlands and North on the Asana community map!
This is great news!
I’m based in Sheffield, although I am from Spain.
My company, Bumper, is a fin-tech specialised in the automotive sector. We’ve been up and running in the UK for over 10 years, and over the last 5 years, we’ve expanded our business into Ireland, Spain, and Germany.
My role as International Marketing Executive greatly benefits from Asana. Our main use case is organising and preparing for the events we attend across all geographies where we are live.
I’m personally really involved with Asana, as my goal is to become an ambassador. For the time being, I’ve completed the Workflow Specialist badge and attended the latest Work Innovation Summit in London!
However, I’ve never met the community! I think meetups and f2f sessions are always more productive. In my ideal world, it’d be a bit of a mix between consultation and drinks:
I’d love for us to have a slot in which to present the way we’re using Bumper ot the rest of the community, and create a session of constructive discussion.
What are others doing that can be useful to me? Where do they think the improvements could be? what improvements? Have they experienced similar challenges to mine? How have they overcome those? Do they think my process has flaws…
Also, networking is really improtant, you never know when you may need a business colleage
Lets hope more from North of London respond and we can look at some sessions
I would recommend the Ambassador scheme, I’ve had a really positive experience so far! I was at the Work Innovation Summit too (my first).
I’m based near Stoke-on-Trent, literally in the middle between Manchester and Birmingham.
I currently work at a Omnichannel Retail Distributor where we design & source products across Electricals and Housewares categories, across a variety of brands for major retail, e-commerce, wholesale and D2C. I was nominated as the lead in our Asana implementation based on our New product introduction process and I’ve really enjoyed the process. So much so, that I’ll be moving on in November to join an Asana Partner to work on Asana full-time
Let’s see how many responses we get in the next few weeks here and we can start to look at everyone’s preferences and how to make it work! thanks for being the first to respond!
