My project has 10 sections and 444 tasks. As of this week, suddenly the list view only shows the first 23 tasks in the first section. The other tasks are also there though. When applying some filters all applicable tasks are showing up, even if they were invisible without any active filters. The board view of the same project shows all 444 tasks without any issues. Same with csv export, nothing is missing there. The iOS app also shows all tasks in its list view.
Have cleared the cache, restarted the computer, tried in Chrome and Edge, in Incognito/Private mode, nothing helps. Any tips how to display all tasks in the list view?
That’s odd. That sounds like a bug, for which contacting support might help.
The support lead time is quite long though, so meanwhile you could maybe check whether it does work in the desktop app?
Thanks JR, I checked in the desktop app as well, and the situation is the same as in the browsers. Only the 1st 23 tasks of the 1st section are shown in the list view, while all tasks are showing in board view. Also, in list view, when applying some filters more tasks are shown, even tasks that would not show up without any filters on. I have already opened a support ticket couple of days ago, but though it may be useful to check with the Forum as well.
I’m hoping support can assist. I don’t think we can do much else for now.
I’m leaving this thread open so that when others experience this they can add replies here. This helps evaluate the impact so that Asana can better evaluate whether this is a critical bug or not.
Do I understand correctly that this is only an issue without any filter applied? As-in, do you trust the filtered views to be accurate?

Yes, correct, the issue is related to not having any filters applied. In this case, not all tasks are shown. The only filtering which doesn’t make the filtered results fully accurate is the complete/incomplete selection.
But today morning I was pleasantly surprised, as the project list view suddenly was complete again! I received no word from support, nor did I (or my team) do any change, all tasks are just showing up again.
