I have created a portfolio for all of my team’s major progress to create a bird’s eye view look at workload, status, and projects.
A MAJOR reason we wanted it in the portfolio was for tracking towards our teams 4 yearly targets. I created a custom field at the portfolio level with those targets, and I want the dashboard to track completion status of tasks in each project that have that custom field set. For instance, if our target is “Increase Engagement” and I set that field for 4 projects, I would like the dashboard to roll up the number of tasks by completion status for all projects that have “Increase Engagement” custom field. Is this possible? I’ve tried in the dashboard and says zero tasks.
What am I doing wrong? I am finding the portfolio dashboard pretty much useless.
