Hi @Nico_Gemio welcome to the Asana community! ![]()
I can see how that can become a distraction and totally get it! An option to toggle it off would be nice. There’s already an option to toggle other things that could be “considered” a distraction to some. +1 to not ditch it completely, but to have the ability to toggle it off would be nice.
maybe an option here would be nice or even include it within extra delight ![]()
Are you referring to emoji reactions on comments?
I do believe so @Nico_Gemio is this correct? I know this is a fairly new update that I believe this is still being pushed out, If I’m not mistaken and is in an experimental phase, but

The feature request about this is here for anyone that needs context:
I can definitely understand the struggle. We decided for now in our team to not forbid them, because people use them wisely, but it can become a problem pretty quickly.
I’ll share my experience using likes.
We don’t need tools to convey our emotions in Asana. We use the like to show that a colleague’s comment has been read. This inconspicuous symbol (in the old version) doesn’t take up space and isn’t distracting.
The new set of emojis has no bearing on teamwork. They’re distracting. They take up space. Please bring back the regular like in the old version. Or give us an option to disable this nonsense.
I’m not sure if I should feel intrigued or sad. What do you mean by that?
