@Carron_Spradlin Right now, OOO alerts only appear if someone is away on the task’s due date. We kept it this way to keep the interface clean for long-term projects, but we’re listening to feedback!
Coming soon: We’re planning an update to show OOO status inside the calendar tool itself, making it easier to spot conflicts while you’re setting your dates.

I noticed the Timeline and Gantt views will show a warning triangle if their duration conflicts with any OOO days, not just on the due date, which is great.
One thing I would suggest is for the warning triangle tool tip to say ‘Person was OOO on X day’ when the date is in the past. It still says is instead. Minor detail but would read better IMO.
