We have reports from our mobile users describing similar issues.
We have successfully resolved the issue for some users by just reinstalling the Asana Android App.
I don’t understand why this is marked as solved; it gives improved visibility but the wrong kind - undo. I assume this would also break relevant statistics. There must be a better way to highlight Asana’s responses than completing (resolving) uncompleted issues.
This has been a critical issue for over a month now (since @Asana15 reported), it’s taking too long. No update for 9 days? Please keep us posted at least.
I just discovered about a dozen tasks I’d created on my android device over the past week or two that I never acted on because they’re not syncing to the server! Two weeks of overdue, incomplete, and forgotten.
My Inbox is syncing, and content from the web is downloading to my phone giving me the impression that everything is ok, but tasks I create on mobile aren’t uploading to the server! And I had no idea.
How I have to one by one recreate these tasks at a computer while staring at my phone, and hope they don’t disappear entirely before I can do that.
Hi @Julio_V , thanks for escalating this issue but I would suggest we also move it to the Critical Bugs category for visibility and further escalation.
I can testify from first-hand experience that one of my clients (in this thread) is facing severe operational issues for far too long which is detrimental to their SLAs. Their staff out on job sites are posting comments and photos that are never synced, while their colleagues back at HQ are not receiving anything.
We have tried contacting support in the past and the response was that it has been escalated to the relevant engineering team for review - that was almost a year ago and I still see other customers also being affected with similar syncing issues.
Sorry to say, this issue is clearly rendering the mobile app unusable, to say the least.
This is so frustrating!! This has happened before and it took weeks for my iphone mobile app to sync up to my desktop. I am not able to be productive at all without it syncing. When will this issue be resolved?
