Make notifications Archives searchable/filterable--imagine the possibilities!!

Have you ever wanted to find that comment your colleague made that included a link to a useful resource, but you archived it last week? And you go to your archive to try to locate it, but find yourself scrolling and scrolling through a week’s worth of notifications to no resolve instead? Then this topic deserves your vote!

Imagine a world in which you could find a comment, task notification, @mention, etc. from hours/days/weeks ago quickly and easily by being able to apply the same filtering and sorting to your Archive as you do to your overarching Inbox(es)… :star_struck:

Asana totes the Archive as being a safe place where notifications are harbored and NOT deleted, but the fact that there is no efficient way to sort through or locate specific archived notifications makes this place a black scroll hole that limits the benefit of having an archive altogether. As it stands, Archive is a filing cabinet with no rhyme or reason, no structure, and no useful functionality–just endless papers crammed in a drawer! By being able to filter and sort the Archive the same way you do your Activity, a world of reference possibilities would be opened to this community. What’s the point of keeping receipts if you can’t locate them and pull them out when you need them?

Thank you for coming to my Archive talk. May your notifications forever be filterable.

Hi @Ericka_Paz , valid points. However, wouldn’t the Bookmark tab help for such important notifications? But perhaps that tab could also beneift from a filtered search, too, actually!

Bookmarking would and does help keep track of important info… as long as you know it’s important in the moment. I suppose I’m thinking of scenarios in which I wish I had bookmarked something and didn’t think to do so at the time or when I’m trying to confirm something through a notification long since archived.
