Some members of my team are part time and don’t work Fridays. Is there a way to auto-set out of office so they don’t have to remember to do so every Thursday evening?

I am not aware that this is possible.
You could ask the team members to set up a recurring task to remind them to update their out of the office status.
Alternatively it might also work that they rename their name in Asana and add a note in brackets so everybody knows they are not working on Friday.
