I recently started using Asana. I love the desktop functionality, but on the app, under “my tasks” it will only show “Recently assigned”. There are no items under “Do Today”, “Do next week” or “Do later”. Also, my app doesn’t look like the one on the tutorials. How can I get today’s tasks to show under “My tasks” instead of a random list of every task in the system? The app is useless as it is now and I don’t see this addressed anywhere.

You can triage My Tasks with a combination of rules (automation) and manual grooming.
