How to shift date without making a new task or affecting owner's due date?

I have a client who plans her due dates for topics on a project board.

I use these tasks to plan what I need to do for the company. I do this by tagging my calendar in the details for the task that relate to me.

How can I shift the due date on my end without affecting her due date, and without having to create a new task?

This is a great question, if the task is multihomed in both projects and you update the due date of this task, the due date will be updated and visible for you and your client.

If you need to have a different due date for you, you’d need to create a separate task with a different due date.

As a workaround, if you need to keep the same task, you can add a text custom field and manually add a different date (for example, 21/01/2021) in the field.
