How to set a rule that automatically places tasks in chronological order (based on due date)

Hello Asana Community!

We want to be able to set a rule that automatically places tasks in chronological order based on their due date. Initially we were sorting the project by due date but the challenge here is that you cannot toggle the task open to see the subtasks inside of it. If there is a workaround for either of those challenges, that would be great. Our main goal is to be able to see the tasks in chronological order within their section and then be able to toggle in list view to see the task’s subtasks.

(We are not wanting to create different sections that are “Due This Week” “Due Next Week”, etc. We want the tasks to remain in their current sections.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Whether it is a workaround or an add-on. Thank you.

@Payton_Moore1, I’ve moved your post so you can vote at the top with the purple button (as I just did). FWIW, I manually sort tasks in a section that I need sorted by date because I know of no workaround.
