How to add a task to a specific section .

Hi,
i m new to asana.
and i did some study on it.

i m trying to create a task in asana using API , task also got create , but in default section.

I have 2 section in my asana, 1 is default and 2nd is Section 1.
And i want to add task on Section 1 instead on default, is there any way ?

I checked create task API urls but there is only GET method which contain Section in it.

please help

Yes - to do that, set the memberships property on the task. See:

Add task to a section upon creation via API request

When you create a task currently, if you want to add it to a section, you need a second POST request. Is there a way to add a task to a section on creation, similarly to how you add it to a project? Sections have a globally unique GID, so it seems like it should be doable? Thanks
